Video Games: all the news that’s fit to copy and paste

It’s a bonanza, a treasure trove! A veritable king’s ransom of information about upcoming blockbuster games has been bequeathed upon the Intarwebs. All right, so it’s mostly generic press hype, but hey, that’s what game news sites thrive on.

First up is Far Cry 2, being developed and relased by Ubisoft. The makers of the first Far Cry, Crytek, aren’t involved in this production, but you can’t deny the landscape looks as gorgeous as the original’s.

The news for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King is a little meatier, discussing the new vehicles(!) and inscription systems. Still no word on the most important question: gnomish death knights, yes or no?

Finally, in not entirely surprising news, Activision announced a sequel to Call of Duty 4, the game that made them money hand over fist for this year. Kotaku believes this one is going back to World War II.
