The comic book movie world, meanwhile, is getting more and more disconcerted by the day, it seems. This time I hear that there’ll be a special cameo to the next Hulk movie, and you might well be surprised to find out who it is.
Daaaa Na! Daaaa Na Na!
That’s right, kiddies, it’s Iron Man, who according to the good folks at Chud.com will be making a surprise stopover in the next Hulk film. Which I don’t suppose is all that ungainly, really—crossovers are a dime a dozen in the comic book world, why shouldn’t the same be said of comic book movies?
In fact, I think it might give an all-too-necessary shot in the arm to the comic book movie industry. They’ve been playing fast and loose with continuities and canon for entirely too long now, and any move to emulate the comic books from which they spawn cannot help but be a step in the right direction.
It does, however, remain to be seen as to whether such a move will work out in the end. But I have high hopes for this, as hopefully, it will end up producing more faithful adaptations in the end.

I was under the impression that he would only be appearing as Tony Stark and not Iron Man?
Bryan–technically, you’re right. Though bear in mind that Tony Stark IS Iron Man, so you can use the two interchangeably.
