A trivia site without sports trivia is barely a trivia site at all, and that’s why the Kwanzoo Football Trivia Channel has just gone live in time for the ’08-’09 NFL season.

We’ve loaded 1,500 questions on NFL and NCAA football to start, with new sets going up every week. As with our other channels, we’re running a regular weekly contest. The player with the highest weekly score gets a certificate for Kwanzoo swag, as does an active player chosen at random.

As always, the questions are exhaustively tagged, so you can play a mix of questions by team, position, players, stats, seasons, awards or pretty much any other category you can think of.

We’ve got some more offbeat questions as well. If you know who invented the Pittsburg Steelers’ “terrible towel,” then… well, then you probably know entirely too much about football. Not only that, you should consider contributing some questions via your My Trivia tab.
