Produced by Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth), this new Spanish-language horror film is appealing to foreign cinema and horror fans, as well as those who were previously uninterested in either genre. But her adopted son becomes the center of a horrific series of events culminating in his disappearance. In her frantic search for Simón, Laura begins to uncover the orphanage’s horrible secrets.
