Hello Everyone!
We’re glad to announce the launch in Private Beta of Kwanzoo’s new Social Marketing Service at the Adtech-NY / CRS Conference!
We are now squarely focused on helping businesses tap into Facebook, Twitter and social media channels, to drive website traffic, gain new customers and increase sales of their products and services.
For those of you who have been following us over the past year and a half, Kwanzoo was originally conceived as a website offering trivia games and quizzes for entertainment. Our revenue model then was advertising on the Kwanzoo website. We then developed quiz widgets that were monetized with built-in banner ads, on the Glam Media publisher network, as well as publisher websites. The Kwanzoo service is now directly available to marketers at enterprises, web publishers and small businesses.
See below for a quick overview of the new Kwanzoo service (also available at http://www.slideshare.net/kwanzoo/kwanzoo-social-inbound-marketing)
We were featured as a startup with a “genius idea” by Mashable for their Spark of Genius Series! The response to the Mashable post has been terrific! We have had several 100s of beta invite requests. We are processing the requests and making access to the new service gradually available to all users.
We are committed to refining our service, to make it highly effective and valuable for social media marketers, direct marketers and agencies, prior to our Public Launch in early 2010.
Here are recent speaking events that featured Kwanzoo’s new Social Inbound Marketing Service:
The Adtech-NY / CRS Conference, Nov 2009: We were part of the Emerging Platforms panel, along with speakers from Google, iCrossing and Fifth Finger).
The TiE Silicon Valley Entrepreneur Week – Internet Day: We were on a panel called “A World Without Google”. Hard to imagine, right? It’s not going to happen anytime soon…. This panel explored options for marketers to find new ways to reach their customers OTHER than via search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO). Kwanzoo was invited to discuss how we can help by tapping social media channels.
Please write into us with your questions, comments and feedback any time! You can stay in touch with us here on the Kwanzoo blog, or on Twitter @kwanzoo or @iyermani
