Monty Python Boys Get Their Own Back On YouTube

You’ve truly got to love Monty Python–all the egomania of Metallica with the same sense of charity as dear old Mother Teresa herself condensed into one big package of funny.

Apparently, all you YouTubers out there, of which I am one, have been ripping off the Monty Python boys for years by posting clips of their best jokes to YouTube without their consent or permission.

And though they know where we live and they’ve seen where we sleep and they know which leg of our trousers we put on first (see, I used the word “trousers” because it sounds more Python-ish in homage), they instead have chosen to JOIN us.

That’s right–the team that brought us legendary quote-fest Monty Python and the Holy Grail started their own channel on YouTube, featuring high-definition clips of all the best stuff, including The Ministry of Silly Walks, The Black Knight and the Killer Rabbit (from Holy Grail!) and even the musical stuff like the Galaxy Song.

And it’s all FREE.

Wow.

And what can we do in return for these..men? Nay, these very PRINCES among men?  These grand and noble kings of comedy? We can buy their crap, that’s what we can do.  The Pythonites have been good enough to include several links by which we can purchase their videos and TV shows and movies and help soften the pain and disgust at being ripped off with low-quality screen captures for years with a huge pile of money.

That’s a pretty fair deal, really.
