It should come as absolutely no surprise to anyone that April is coming, and as such, the horror movie market needs something to tie into the occasion. There are days when the horror movie industry strikes me as so desperate that it needs something to tie into the occasion of Thursday at five o’clock in the afternoon, but that’s neither here nor there.

It’s actually already out on video, so you too can go have a look. Both the original and the remake are on hand so you can even go comparing if you’re up for it. There will actually be several sizable differences between the two—just looking at the box art of the original will prove that out pretty far. Meanwhile, reviews of the remake say that it’s really not going to be that impressive a title, which shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anyone since it’s going direct-to-video anyway, and there are only a handful of really good titles in that pond anyway.
