The answer? Three.

Oh, I only wish I were kidding here, o my readership. They have, apparently, managed to film Saw V in such a way that it can have three different endings. Naturally, there’s not a whole lot of word on just what those endings ARE, exactly, only to say that two are quite similar to each other…and one is very different.

So which one will we end up with? Chances are, it’s whichever ending will allow them to film Saw VI with the least hassle. Although in all honesty, I can’t even type Saw VI without my fingers cramping up a little bit, as though they’re refusing to commit such a thing to text.

They’re really planning to do it. This thing jumped the shark two installments ago, but no one seems to care. The whole thing is getting rather annoying–if it weren’t for morbid curiosity and a sense of tradition I’d never see another one. But I guess that’s what they’re counting on, isn’t it? Morbid curiosity, a sense of tradition, getting genuine enjoyment out of this over-the-hill wreckage…as long as it puts the proverbial butts in the equally proverbial seats, then who cares, right?

Who cares, indeed.

There is some hope for this one, however…it’s been stated that this one will be “more linear” and “less confusing”, which is definitely a HUGE problem they needed to fix. Also stated was that these will be some of the “best traps ever”. So, maybe this one won’t be so bad after all.

Stranger things have happened.
