NCAA: Top-5 ranked teams (AP vs. BSC)

    THE PRESS

No. 1- Alabama is the consensus No. 1 with just about everyone… except for me. Several of their victories were not that impressive and they are not likely to finish with a perfect season.

No. 2- Texas Tech has played the biggest game of its season three straight weeks in a row and that number will soon be the four. The Red Raiders past three victories could be forgotten in the BCS championship game should they lose to 5th-ranked Oklahoma State.

No. 3- Florida will only move up from here. One of the above teams is going to fall (down the ranks). Expecting more exceptional play from Tim Tebow and the Gators to win out.

No. 4- Texas finishes its season at Kansas and at home against Texas A&M. Texas can only move up the ladder if someone falls down. Longhorn fans should be rooting for Crimson Tide, Red Raider and Gator losses.

No. 5- Oklahoma has the toughest remaining schedule of the bunch and that may not be so bad sitting at this spot. If the Sooners win out, they will have beaten Texas Tech, the only team to beat Texas, the only team that the Sooners lost to.
