NFL Week 6: Game/Rematch of the Week

There are two different ways this week’s game of the week can be approached.

First, you can see it as a rematch of last year’s AFC championship game, or…

You can see it as a match of who is the better team that the Miami Dolphins have beat this season.

The New England Patriots (3-1) will fly all the way from … San Jose … down to San Diego (2-3) to face the Chargers.

The Pats have already won their first of three California games this season in their defeat over the 49ers last week. If they can beat the Chargers on Monday night, they will surely be capable of performing the California sweep when they face the Raiders later in the season.

The Chargers, however, just may not go down so easily. With a terrible start, and playoff/Super Bowl hopes quickly fading, the Bolts may just put up the fight of their life to try and salvage their season and avenge last year’s championship game loss.

Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick said the two teams play each other so often, it’s practically a division game.

The Pats hold the advantage in the all-time series between the two teams having won 20 of 36 games, two of which ended in a tie.

The Patriots have won three in a row against the Chargers and have won 12 of the last 15 times the two have faced off.

Prediction:

Patriots 17

Chargers 20
