Thanksgiving Classic Game of the Week

Forget about the Cowboys and the Seahawks; Two teams that have I have been predicting to lose (almost) every game this season have a special match up on Thanksgiving Thursday. Last week, they both lost.

The Titans (10-1) and the Lions (1-10) may look like a boring game on paper, however, I’m going to go against that and say it’s going to be a close game.

The Lions have not won all season and they haven’t won on Turkey day since 2003 in a 22-14 defeat over the Packers.

There has to be some sort of motivation inside that squad and if for just one day, it could show up, and do its job (play football), Detroit could take advantage of a Tennessee unit that is not so fresh, having gotten blown out less than a week ago and on the verge of a meltdown after its first lost.

If there’s one day the Lions want to play this season, and prove to the world they won’t go down in history as a pathetic, winless, good-for-nothing team, they will win this weekend with the national audience of turkey-goers across the nation to witness it.

And remember, John Madden will be on television, and you’ll get to watch him eat, and then do it again!
