All I Want Is Great Content!
When we first started working on Kwanzoo, we visited a whole lot of trivia sites out there. We still do. There are some good ones, to be sure. But the better ones we’ve seen do not allow users to submit content into their trivia game. And the ones that do allow user-submitted content have at least some of the following issues:
Give me 10 questions on 1 topic. Or don’t give me any questions at all!
But this really does n’t work for people who want to write trivia questions! You see, most of us are at our creative best only some of the time! And as someone who writes or creates, we would rather see your one great question make it onto the site right away, instead of waiting and waiting for all 10 questions to be ready!
I don’t care what you wrote! It’s getting out there, baby!
Not on Kwanzoo! We have 1000s of questions on 100s of movies and TV shows. Every trivia question is whetted and approved by our Trivia Channel editors. You may have played already on our Movie & TV trivia channel. We have more channels coming! Stay tuned. When we open up our channels for user submissions, they will still go through an approval process. The result - only good, clean content makes it out to you, our Players on the site! (If we missed something, just report it! It will be taken off the site until we have looked at it and fixed it.)
Stop! Enough Already! I want to try something else!
How many times have you been in the middle of a 10-question quiz and said, “I am done with this!”. Have you noticed when we play a trivia game in the real world with each other, the topics keep changing after almost every other question? And usually, one of us says, “Hey! I’ve got a great Johnny Depp question!” and then goes on and asks the question. Well, we have designed Kwanzoo to work the way we play trivia in the real world.
What does that have to do with our content? A lot, actually. All the content on Kwanzoo is “tagged” in several different ways. It is what allows our Players to keep switching while they are playing, from a movie to a related movie, to the Director, the Actors, the movie genre or something else altogether that the question writer dreamed up. Imagine playing social trivia questions on “Hot Hunks”! Now that would be fun, is n’t it?
And did we tell you we’ve got a new trove of horror movie trivia on the site a couple of days ago! Come check it out!
