And the Razzies Are…

The Oscars are all well and good, but sometimes you just need to reward the skin-peelingly bad movies, too. It takes a certain amount of effort to make a really bad film - it’s surprisingly difficult to fund, pitch, and produce a movie that makes people want to vomit.

RazziesThank goodness for the Razzies. If not for their brave efforts, we might never realize how truly bad I Know Who Killed Me is.

Lindsay Lohan really cleaned up at the Razzies this year. Apparently, I Know Who Killed Me is just as bad as you might think. So, without further ado, I present:

The Razzies.

WORST ACTOR
Eddie Murphy (Norbit)

WORST ACTRESS

They even added a new category this year especially for I Know Who Killed Me: WORST EXCUSE FOR A HORROR MOVIE.

Personally, I think the Razzies should make more of an effort to branch out and focus on bad movies we might not have heard of, seen trailers for, or read about in Maxim. Sure, Norbit’s bad, but what about all the terrible movies that got ignored this year? Someone must speak for them - they cannot speak for themselves.

Norbit’s a special kind of bad. It’s bad by itself, but it got theatrical distribution when it probably should’ve gone direct to video. That and it’s got a multifaceted Eddie Murphy, so those are some serious bad multipliers.
