Maybe you should be.

A couple of weeks ago, Adult Swim started airing Series Three of The Mighty Boosh, one of the strangest television shows to come out of Britain, which is no small order. Like other AS shows, it’s also going up for free on their website.

(I’m kind of fronting here like I’ve known about The Mighty Boosh all along, but actually I just found out about it. Don’t tell anyone.)

It’s hard to explain exactly what The Mighty Boosh is about, if it’s about anything. Perhaps the easiest way to be introduced to Howard, Vince, The Nabootique and Tony “The Tentacle” Harrison is by watching the episode “Eels” on adultswim.com and following up with Journey to the Centre of the Punk.

I’m not a fan of most of Adult Swim’s live action offerings, but The Mighty Boosh has the advantage of having some funny parts. Kudos to whoever did the legwork to to bring it stateside.
