If Glenn Beck were to get a tattoo any time soon, I’d strongly suggest he look into a bullseye for his forehead, because he’s just called down some pathologically scathing wrath. 

Tonight on his CNN Headline News show, Beck came out with a truly spectacular announcement–check this out:

I will tell you that all these video gamers… they’re bloggers, as well as video gamers - they’re writing all kinds of stuff about me [that] I’m the enemy now of video gamers. I could care less about video games. Video game bloggers? They’re losers…

So, okay.  It’s clear Beck’s lost his mind–issuing blanket insults to an entire segment, bar none at all, of journalism is about as smart as wearing a full-body suit made entirely from beef and wading into a pen full of starving crazed weasels.  The river of flame that his email has no doubt become could probably melt a nickel-iron asteroid at fifty paces.

Of course, the cynic in me begs the obvious question–why? Why is he BAITING a community so dedicated to its own protection?  I think he actually wants the attention, the little troll.  He knows his book sales aren’t near as hot as those of his guests, and so he’s trying to get a little notoriety fire lit.  Which is pretty low-brow to say the least, but being one of those losers on CNN sure doesn’t help his chances.
