I love the smell of digital delivery in the morning. It smells like… indie.

- I can’t really really tell you much about the upcoming PlayStation Network game Fat Princess except that it’s usually more fun to cover a controversy than write about a game itself. No word yet on whether feeders are upset that the game trivializes their sexual fetish or are pleased someone made a title catering to them. Release date is to be determined.

- PixelJunk Eden, however, came out today to largely positive reviews. Eden is a downloadable game for the PS3 where you do… something. It seems hard to describe. Plants are involved. But hey, apparently it’s under ten bucks, and there’s already a demo out on the PSN.

- Exactly how much Castle Crashers is going to cost remains a mystery. A rumor broke that the sidescrolling beat ‘em up was going to be in the $22.50 to $15 range, but has been debunked by developer The Behemoth.

You may recognize the Castle Crashers art style from popular Newgrounds games Alien Hominid and Dad ‘n Me, both of which are awesome and horribly, horribly violent despite their cute visuals. It hits Xbox Live Arcade August 27th.

- The developers of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 for Xbox Live Arcade posted a video detailing the work that goes into creating such memorable characters as “blue diamond” and “pincer thing.” This truly cinematic game is available now.
