The writer’s strike is mercifully over, and, for the most part, we can all return to our lives. Our shows are back, our awards extravaganzas are back…life has returned to normal.

WGASort of.

Like any conflict, the strike leaves behind some residual casualties, mostly television series whose production was interrupted during the strike and has yet to resume.

24 didn’t even get the chance to begin. While writing and filming was partially completed, Season 7 has been officially delayed until 2009 to ensure an uninterrupted season, as the others have been.

The fourth and final season of Battlestar Galactica is only half-filmed, but is scheduled to begin airing in April. It’s unknown whether or not the second half of the season will be produced in the meantime.

Cult comedy show 30 Rock’s future is mostly unknown. Sometime in April, it will begin airing again, but the season will end 7 episodes prematurely.

What about The Office? It will complete its season a few episodes short, also with airing to resume in April. The “lost” episodes will likely return next year, slightly shuffled around to make chronological sense.

So, don’t worry…your favorite shows will be back someday. Probably. In the meantime, follow the links above to some trivia to keep you entertained.
