You know…I’m always sort of amazed when I hear anything about the chronically underused Helena Bonham Carter.  The woman is some kind of insane genius but she almost never shows up in anything not involving Tim Burton, but now, she’s getting a piece of Terminator 4.

Apparently slated to play a “small but pivotal role”, we have no idea just what exactly that role is.  But I guess it’s going to be small.  And pivotal.

And despite this vagary, I find myself intrigued.  Like REALLY intrigued.  This is a fantastic idea–Helena Bonham Carter’s been good in just about everything she’s ever done for the last ten years or so, and she’s even got some action experience from her time in Fight Club.  Yeah, bet you almost forgot she was IN Fight Club, huh?  Well, that’s all right–it’s not like we talk about it.

But seriously, this is an excellent idea, which is further proof of the Broken Clock Theory of the universe as the movie’s currently being run by none other than McG, who is, of course, a hugely broken clock.

And until we get to see how a dose of Helena Bonham Carter can even manage to improve on crap like a McG action piece, try the action movie trivia on Kwanzoo.
