Some days it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed, I tell you. Because some days, things happen that force you to question your place in the universe, your entire way of life, even your very sanity.

And yes, one of those things has just happened to me. You see…I found out about a movie called Dance of the Dead. And when I tell you what it’s about, you’ll be going through much the same reaction yourself.

You’re Telling Me It’s A Zombie Whanow?

Oh yes, kiddies…Dance of the Dead is the story of a zombie prom–a high school prom overrun suddenly by Zombie Apocalypse. One minute we’re picking a king and queen…the very next, said ersatz royalty is getting lunched up during their spotlight dance.

There’s A Certain Justice In That, You Know.

Yes, yes…we all remember the proms and how only the most popular and somehow most complete nightmares in human skin were selected for said honor, and there’s definitely a black comedy in picturing them being torn apart and eaten by the walking undead. Especially as far as the horror geeks go—this is the same kind of spirit that fuelled the MORP episode of Malcolm in the Middle.

And Yes, I’m Looking Forward To It Too.

That says it all…a proper dose of ZA is never to be scorned, and this certainly sounds about as proper as it gets any more. Just don’t make me rent a suit.
