The twenty-second Bond movie is coming out in November, and we still don’t have a title.

Fans are anxiously awaiting any news. Titles like Property of a Lady and The Lady Expects Too Much have been bandied about in fan communities, along with speculations as to why the word “Lady” is so popular.

Recently, Rotten Tomatoes conducted an interview with Daniel Craig about his upcoming role in Flashbacks of a Fool. Naturally, the subject of the currently-filming Bond 22 came up, and the interviewer grilled Craig.

Described as having a “wry grin,” Craig denied that he knew what the title would be. However, he did confirm that Mathieu Almaric will play the villain. He’s thrilled about this casting, having briefly met Almaric while filming Munich, but mostly impressed with his performance in The Diving-Bell and the Butterfly.

But will Almaric play Vesper Lynd’s old boyfriend, as has been rumored? Craig confirmed that “there is a connection” between Bond 22 and Casino Royale in that area, but gave no further details.

Though principal photography on Bond 22 has begun, Craig says they haven’t begun “the physical stuff.” yet. He fully expects to be walking around wounded soon, however.
