Knocked Up: Every Partner, Every Time. Or Else.
Judd Apatow, the brains behind Superbad and The 40-Year-Old Virgin, has struck again with this comedy about unwanted pregnancy. What most of us would consider a nightmare scenario is played mostly for laughs, but with enough drama to keep it from being trite. Seth Rogen is spot-on as an illegal Canadian immigrant who scores with a drunken Catherine Hiegel. Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann round out the cast as Hiegel’s brother-in-law and sister, who let her stay in their guest home. Superbad’s Jonah Hill and a gaggle of others play Rogen’s stoner buddies. It’s an ensemble to die for.
Trivia Tidbit

a. Slightly Pregnant

(Highlight below for answer.)
a. Slightly Pregnant. This is actually the title of a popular song in Brazil. The Russian title was “A little bit pregnant.”
Knocked Up is a showcase for Apatow’s clever dialogue and Rogen’s uncanny ability to seem fat when he’s really not. The story has a heart and soul, while remaining almost unnaturally funny.
