You know, I’m beginning to enjoy the concept of Edward Furlong. The more I see him, the more I think of him as his generation’s Gary Busey. After seeing him wheeze and slobber his way through “Intermedio”, limping his way through his performance even worse than Amber Benson—and she had a cast on her leg—I knew that this guy was twenty pounds of unstable in a sweaty, rumpled five pound sack.

And indeed, it’s a Cruel World for Eddie “Busey” Furlong—at least, that’s the title of his next movie. Check out the plot on this one—a deranged reality show contestant, after being thrown off, decides to create his own reality show; one where other contestants die in a loud, grotesque fashion.

I’m actually kind of laughing at this concept. Man, is the reality show so ever-present in today’s society that we can actually get horror movies made satirizing it? This is kind of sad, really. But at the same time, might be interesting—especially with a clear wackjob like Furlong involved.

It’ll be out on video soon, I’m told, if it isn’t already. And until then, we’ve got plenty of other horror movie trivia on Kwanzoo.
