Intent, ladies and gentlemen! Intent is the big deal of big deals these days, and why, you might ask? The plotline definitely has a lot to do with that, more on that later—but definitely just as high on the list is the sheer star power this sucker’s looking to bring in! Wow. Seriously. The list is amazing.

Included in the current cast lists / possible cast members are: Maria Bello, Steve Schirripa, Kiefer Sutherland, Kirk Woller, Tim Kelleher, Madison Mason, and Muse Watson. Between them, they represent pieces of some of the hottest media properties of the last two years—Transformers, Flightplan, The Sopranos, 24, and more.

Which is a blisteringly hot array, but that doesn’t matter too much if the plot’s not there…and the plot definitely sounds like it’s there in spades. A kidnapping in Ohio kicks off a manhunt that goes all the way around with what sounds like twisty endings, and it’s being described as a mix of The Silence of the Lambs and CSI. The script is already winning awards all by its onesies, so you can tell the plot has got to be there to at least some degree.

Which sounds like, all told, Intent is going to be a pure-T weapons-grade thriller movie, and that’s getting somewhat rare any more. Release dates are a little sketchy at this stage of the game, but until then, enjoy the thriller movie trivia on Kwanzoo.
