Things only get more amazing from Sam Raimi—the guy’s got two movies in the making and now he’s branching out even further to get into television.

Now, you might be concerned. Horror on television—especially on network television, and this one’s going to the CW, that horrible mutant offspring of the WB and UPN—has never been all that great. It’s so harshly edited that, frequently, the plot comes under jeopardy. But this time it might be different. You see, Sam Raimi, genius behind the Evil Dead series and madman behind Spider-Man, is doing a horror-themed REALITY SHOW.

Now, many of you find regular reality television to be scary enough; I know the thought of a new Survivor fills me with a cold dread. But this might be interesting. Competitors will vie in a series of horror-themed challenges to “survive” to the end of the reality show. They’ll have to, not surprisingly, deal “with their fears and anxieties”, so look for lots of night-vision cameras mounted in dark rooms full of snakes and spiders and cockroaches and such.

So there’s a possibility that the Sam Raimi horror reality show might be entertaining, and until then, you can enjoy Sam Raimi trivia on Kwanzoo.
