Here’s another one for the What’s the Big Deal? Department—Terrestrial Pictures is looking to put together a feature called Scarecrow. No one seems to know too much about it—not even a synopsis can be found just yet—and all anyone really knows so far is that, yes, scarecrows are involved and they’ll be attacking a small town which must be defended by a bunch of kids. Par for the course, really-don’t even ask me why is everyone so concerned about this to begin with.

There have been several movies revolving around killer scarecrows—from the fantastic Scarecrows (which was about military deserters chasing lost cash) to the lesser but still solid Scare Crow (mostly for the appearance of Tiffany Shepis) to the downright godawful Dark Harvest series—that have been around for years in most cases and did the job thoroughly and to death. Why there’s another one is downright beyond me.

I’m told, however, that this contains “new scarecrow lore”—I’ll believe that when I see it—and a collection of “twists and turns”, which I’ll also believe upon seeing.

And until then, there’s plenty of horror movie trivia waiting for us all on Kwanzoo.
