Milla Jovovich, longtime actress and all-around horror movie sensation, will be starring in an upcoming murder mystery that will feature a government cover up as a plot point. Called The 4th Kind—as in Close Encounters of?—it won’t start filming until late June of this year, so we’ll have a long wait until we actually get to see this.

Perhaps most interesting is that this is already being described as a “fact-based thriller” about a town with an unusually high number of unexplained disappearances in the last forty years.

Okay, I’m definitely interested. Never mind that this is going to be the director’s debut film—with a veteran like Jovovich around there shouldn’t be that many serious problems. And let’s be honest, there haven’t been a whole lot of thrillers like this released lately. While there are plenty of ways this could go wrong for us, and badly at that, there’s still plenty of good opportunity here, and so, I’m looking forward to it.

For right now, however, I have thriller movie trivia on Kwanzoo just waiting for me.
