NFL Week 13 Game of the Week
The first place NFC East-leading New York Giants (10-1) will square off against divisional rival Washington Redskins (7-4) in this week’s game of the week.
The showdown will mark the second time the two teams have matched up this season. The Giants beat the Redskins 16-7 in Week 1 at home as Eli Manning threw for 260 yards and ran for one score.
The Giants’ defense held Jason Campbell to just 133 passing yards and stopped Clinton Portis to only 84 yards on the ground. Campbell has been playing much better as of late, and so has Portis, but the Giants defense has grown as a unit since the game.
Playing well on the road this season (4-1), one would assume the Giants would have no problem going into

Washington to register a victory. The Redskins have played poorly at home (33) and are in desperate need of a victory over the NFC East leader if they wish to compete for the divisional title.
Surely, the Giants will be the favorite, but I’m going to go with the long shot and predict the Redskins to come out on top. Look for Portis to run, run, run all over the Giants, even though they have a solid run defense (6th overall).
