NFL Week 4: Game of the Week

There are a lot of uneventful games lined up for the NFL this weekend, but two games in particular at least have the potential to be playoff games to come.

Now, if you noted the title above, this is the game of the week, so obviously this has no reference to the Washington @ Dallas game. That would be the Blow Out of the Week.

There will be a Battle of the Bays, as the Green Bay Packers (2-1) will travel down south to square off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1), in a game which could help determine which team ranks third in the NFC behind Dallas and New York.

There’s still a long way to go to the playoffs, however, and both teams don’t have easy roads to cross to get there. Out of their remaining 13 games, both teams face at least 8 opponents which have chances to take playoff spots at the end of the season.

Tampa Bay quarterback Brian Griese has won both of his starts for team this year, but with the amount of interceptions he has thrown, and the amount of points Green Bay puts up per game, I don’t see the Buck winning this one.

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers has yet to throw an interception this season, and should be ready to strike, in a well needed Packer victory to avenge last weeks defeat at Dallas.
