This is amazing news for those of us who don’t want to shell out for an HBO subscription, yet still enjoy the deadpan antics of Bret and Jemaine, everyone’s favorite New Zealand novelty folk-pop duo. According to a missive sent by FunnyOrDie.com’s Weston Green to AICN, the second season premiere of “Flight of the
Conchords” will be “broadcast” on their site starting on December 17th, which is some time before the January premiere on HBO.
I wanted to give you, your staff, and readers a heads up about the Flight of the Conchords Season 2 Premiere. It’s going to be happening exclusively on www.funnyordie.com on December 17. We will be getting a new widescreen player and be broadcasting the first episode of the new season for the first week (dec 17-dec 21.)

About a million years ago, I wrote an article about HBO’s upcoming pilot “Boardwalk Empire” and how they were trying to pull Martin Scorsese to direct it. Since he’s executive-producing the show, it wasn’t too hard of a sell, and guess what? He went for it! And even better than that, Steve Buscemi
is going to star.
Steve Buscemi is in talks to star in “Boardwalk Empire,” Martin Scorsese’s drama pilot for HBO.

The thin veneer of friendship that covered the interactions between Dexter and Miguel is now completely worn away. It’s kind of sad that Dexter has lost another friend, but Dexter gaining an enemy can’t be anything but exciting. As Dex himself says, “my search for connection always ends in blood.”
With the relationship between Miguel and Sil becoming ever more strained, Rita wants to know why Dexter won’t accept Miguel’s lavish gift - full catering for their wedding from an expensive restaurant. Dex explains that Miguel is “not who I thought he was,” which leads Rita to conclude that Miguel is, in fact, cheating on his wife. At an emotional dress fitting, Rita finds herself no longer able to conceal this information from Sil.

Just when you thought Steven Seagal had done everything - singing, guitar, acting, Buddhism, aikido instruction - he’s finally tried something he’s never encountered before. Reality.
Reality T.V., that is. Apparently, Seagal has worked on-and-off for the last two decades as a police office in his home of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Naturally enough, A&E has decided to turn his everyday work into a
series, “Steven Seagal: Lawman.” According to Seagal, “I’ve decided to work with A&E on this series now because I believe it’s important to show the nation all the positive work being accomplished here in Louisiana–to see the passion and commitment that comes from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office in this post-Katrina environment.”
Recognized as a reincarnated Tulku - a Tibetan Buddhist lama who has been reborn in order to continue his work - Seagal has described himself as having been “born very different, clairvoyant and a healer.” Presumably as a part of his clairvoyant/healing duties, he produces the energy drink Steven Seagal’s Lightning Bolt, which is “A Natural Energy Drink Packed With Vitamins and Exotic Botanicals.” It is produced by his company, Steven Seagal Enterprises, which was founded to “share his wisdom and experience of energy with the world.”

own. There’s plenty of shows to go around.

Hey kids, gather round–post-Thanksgiving joke time. What do you call a show that can’t even get the ratings of Knight Rider on a bad day, hosted by a militant lesbian who couldn’t keep an audience paying attention in the first place?
Give up?

I really don’t like reality TV.
Starting things out like that may make you wonder, why am I going to write about something I hate so much? Well, to be honest with you, most of the problem I have with reality TV is that the reality it portrays is a really unpleasant one.

I have in my hand a list of names the Black Friday ads for this year.. It’s not all that exciting, since scans of them showed up online weeks ago, but let’s pretend it’s 1992 and we’re all looking at this for the Very First Time.
I wouldn’t recommend heading out on Friday just for DVDs, since the deals aren’t that fantastic and DVDs go on sale all the time. But if you’re going to be hitting some of the major stores anyway, first of all, you’re
insane. Second of all, here are the DVDs you should buy.

’80s nostalgia has never been bigger than it is now. Those of us who grew up on T.V. from the Reagan era have now become part of the buying public, and we love to spend money on things that remind us
of the good old days.
LIKE GHOSTBUSTERS.
