Rambo. John Rambo.

Here’s a trivia question for you - what do all of Uwe Boll’s movies and the new Rambo have in common? None of them have been screened for the press.

RamboOf course, this could just mean there’s a juicy secret Rambo twist they don’t want anyone to know. Those few journalists who have seen the film have been sworn to secrecy. While Boll hides his films because he knows they will garner awful reviews, Rambo might just be a casualty of a constantly-spoiling media.

Trivia Tidbit

This will be the first Rambo movie without…

a. Richard Crenna
b. Brian Dennehy
c. Kurtwood Smith
d. David Caruso

(Highlight below for answer)

a. Richard Crenna

The minimalistically-titled Rambo has run into a few identity crises along the way. Originally given a series of awful working subtitles like In the Eye of the Serpent, To Hell and Back, and Pearl of the Cobra (WHAT?), the fourth Rambo film should probably just be called Rambo IV. Or, at the most, Rambo: First Blood Part IV. Maybe even Rambo: Fourth Blood. The title in most European countries is John Rambo, mimicking the barely successful Rocky Balboa. Both Rambo and John Rambo avoid the dreaded “sequel” stigma, although whether that actually helps the film remains to be seen.
