Okay, so there’s a pretty fair chance I’m gonna get sent to Gitmo for this one, but there’s just no way to resist this clever, Daily Show-esque footage of a cropped together Presidential interview complete with Lurking Background Cheney detailing the truest terrorist threat to America.

Zombies.

It’s been on YouTube for just over a year now, and many of us are only just noticing it.  Like horror-movies.ca, who only found it today.  This in turn gave me all the inspiration I needed to crack off yet another piece bemoaning the fact that I truly do NOT watch enough YouTube.

Watching it gives some of the best satire available outside of Comedy Central, and the humor in this rests in the cynical fact that we don’t put this kind of thing past our less-than-intellectual commander-in-chief.  Bush himself is in rare form, scaring America into hiding under the bed with vaguely ominous sound bites like “They have objectives!” (like what, precisely?  do YOU even know?) and “They are a threat to your children!” (and your dogs!  And sweet little kittens everywhere!  And lollipops! And MOM AND APPLE PIE!!  They’re NEXT! Syrian nukes are pointed at Disney World THIS VERY MOMENT!!).  Also included is the Bushist tendency to refer to people by names that are not their own, but rather by appellations constructed out of whole cloth by Bush himself.

But anyway…excellent parody here, and if Jon Stewart hasn’t already called these guys, he seriously should.
