Them - Reptiloids, Jack Black, and Shaun of the Dead, Oh My!
So there’s a new movie in the works, and it’s going to bring together a lot of really wild elements into a combination that will probably be described as explosive. Jack Black’s setting up to make a movie with no less than Edgar Wright of Shaun of the Dead fame, and Mike White, the screenwriter on School of Rock.
And Man, What A Movie It Is.
The movie in question is called Them, and though it’s not all that clear just yet what roles Black will be handling, the subject matter is somewhat clear. It’s a conspiracy thriller, you see. And as if that weren’t enough, word is that Shaun of the Dead / Hot Fuzz stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are also slated to show.

Okay…brace yourself for this one. Them is based on a…nonfiction…title from Jon Ronson, who apparently believes in things like Reptiloids. Reptiloids, for those of you what don’t habla, are twelve-foot-tall evil lizard people who want to enslave all humanity, and from whom some humans are actually descended.
Which makes me really question the whole “nonfiction” label.
But anyway, it looks to be a real winner, when and if it finally hits, and you too can be a winner by trying out the Jack Black and Shaun of the Dead trivia on Kwanzoo.
