I know–provocative headline, no? Well, before you start thinking the Sex and the City star was up to no good, think again. Turns out she was on her knees…begging the Smithsonian curators to let her borrow the desk and laptop made famous–allegedly–by her character Carrie on, what else, Sex and the City.

One, I’m royally pissed off thinking that my tax dollars are going to preserve CARRIE’S DESK. When I think of all the things the Smithsonian could–should!–be preserving, some cheap trollop’s desk is not high on the list. Two, what’s the point? By now that laptop is so horribly out of date it’s not even funny. Just get a new laptop, already. Your entire audience has.

Three…Sex and the City MOVIE?? The hell? When did Hollywood get so desperate as to dredge this bloated corpse out of the television harbor, slap a new dress and some perfume on it, and then parade it out into Times Square to make a little bank? This move is beyond sick, and frankly, I hope it tanks harder than the housing market on Three Mile Island.
