Like the Italian I’m leading in with today? One of my favorite novels assures me that that snippet translates literally into “Shoot Yourself”. Now, you may be asking, with varying levels of profanity, just why I’d lead off a piece with such a morbid suggestion.

Simple! I’m talking about PERSONA this time around, and if you want to get anywhere in that game, you’re going to have to fatti sparare over and over and over again. It’s up to number four, and it’s going to make landfall on the PS…2.

Yep, that’s right–another game is coming out for the PS2 whilst the PS3 manages to continue flailing along in the sea of mediocrity it’s been submerged in, oh, pretty much since launch. Look, when even Adam Sessler’s mocking you on freaking X-Play (A six hundred dollar Blu-Ray Player! Ha! I LOVE that line!) you know you’ve got some serious problems.

Anyway, Persona 4. It’s looking to be fully one and a half times the size of Persona 3, with multiple endings, which means it’ll be a pretty big game. And you’ll still have all the added creepy fun of repeatedly forcing your character to shoot him- or herself in the head to release helpful spirits.
