Who is Vin Diesel’s WoW Character?

I’ve always liked watching Vin Diesel talk. Besides having a voice that sounds like it was fed backwards through a wheat harvester, he seems like a guy who’s just totally satisfied to be the person he is.

Vin was on a British talk show last week to promote the new Fast and Furious movie. While he was on, the host brought up World of Warcraft. The video is after the jump.

You can skip forward to about 5:30, when the topic of gaming is introduced and Vin’s face lights up.

(The “spectral tiger” that host Jonathan Ross is referring to is in fact serious business, and can still go for four figures on eBay. Vin is right to be impressed.)

Vin dodges the question of just what level his character is, either because he’s embarassed to admit he spends so much time on it or he’s embarassed he hasn’t hit the level cap yet. Hard to say.

I’ve been poking around a little trying to figure out his character’s name, since it can be fun to see what it says about a person.

There’s a lot of apocrayphal information out there, like that plays a character named “Dish”, or that he’s a level 80 resto shaman, but there’s nobody in the armory that matches that description.

So, how does Vin Diesel roll in Azeroth? The public demands to know. I’m calling on Mr. Diesel to lay his e-peen out there for everyone to see.

The question is, is that him, or just people naming themselves after his character?

His character is named Hellomate on the Bloodhoof realm.

    Gnome Warlock.

I met him way back in an AQ20 raid. He’s only level 71 now, though, so it either means he doesn’t play that character any more or doesn’t play at all.
