The Trade-off
When you browse in private mode, other users see you as "LinkedIn Member" instead of your name and profile. However, you also lose access to seeing who's viewed your own profile. LinkedIn's model is reciprocal—if you want to see who's checking you out, you have to let others see when you view them.
