How to add someone to an existing Slack conversation
Add someone to a Slack conversation by clicking the channel/DM name, selecting 'Add people', and choosing who to add. They'll see the full message history.

To add someone to an existing Slack conversation:
For Channels
- Click the channel name at the top
- Click the "Members" tab or "Add people" button
- Search for and select the person to add
- Click "Add"
For Direct Messages/Group Chats
- Click the group DM name at top
- Select "Add people to conversation"
- Choose who to add
Important: When you add someone to a conversation, they can see the entire message history. If you want to discuss something privately first, start a separate thread.
